About me
I am Roumanian. I was born in August 1995. I live in Bucharest, I have a big brother (ex-waterpolo player, girls like it) and I am a young judoka in CSS 1 Pajura Bucuresti. My coach is a former national champion Aurel Barcă.
My school is Liceul teoretic "Stefan Odobleja" - Bucuresti.
Judo is a way of life for the samurai, they learn how to be calm.
"Chiri mo tsumori yamato nari" - With every particle of dust one mountain is made.
In Judo, the aim is not only winning fights but also the training of one's body and spirit. The literal translation of Judo is "the gentle way": softness exceeds hardness in Judo, and techniques are more important than stamina. Judo is an intense sport, a wonderful form of exercise, and can be adapted to serve as effective a powerful form of self-defense. Judo was founded by Dr. Jigoro Kano in 1882. In creating judo, Dr. Kano drew techniques from jujitsu that could be used safely in sport competition and that also subscribed the principle of seiryoku zenyo, meaning maximum efficiency through minimum effort.
Since three years when I became judoka, I participed in many competitions (with national and international judoka) and I won many trophys. I am ambitious to win one gold as soon as possible at the olympics.
In my opinion, the trophys I won:
2005 - cat 27 kg- U11 - vicechampion of Bucharest, 3th place in competition with national and international participation Polivalent Hall- 1000 children, 3th place on ,,Danube Cup” Giurgiu
2006 - vicechampion on Festival of judo in Bucharest, competition with national and international participation - 800 children and 3th place on ,,Danube Cup” Giurgiu
2007 -vicechampion U 15 and champion U 13 of Bucharest area, 3th place Romanian National Championship - Muntenia region U15, in June 2007 7th place on Romanian National Championship Final U15 (at that time I was to young for U15 - my normal category of age was U13) Romanian National Championship U15 contestsheet, 3th place on ,,Danube Cup”, vicechampion cat. 34 kg -U15 in competition with national and international participation classification Festival of Judo 2008
2008 - third place of International School Turnier Vocklabruck-Austria, vicechampion 38kg ,,Danube Cup” Giurgiu U15, vicechampion Romanian National Championship - Muntenia region U15
are the same value like those at olimpic mathematic, literature. Is the ,,Mens sana in corpore sano” - Healthy mind in healthy body - (suggested by my mom) wich was spoken by the greeks. I love nature, its animals, I love judo, I love my family, I like to read, I like to drive cars (maybe I will become a pilot driver, wau!) in one phrase, I am happy with my life. My father made movies about my fights and if you want to watch them go to the video section on this site.
In 13 January 2008 I was operated for appendix - brrrrrr! I am OK now.
In 2 March 2008 I will participed in Austria, in Vöcklabruck, at International School Turnier (judoka U15 from Austria, Germany, Romania, Italy, Belgique, Holland, England, Poland, Cehia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Kroatia, Swiss).
I won third place at this Austrian competition.contestsheet
Today, 04 May 2008, in Pitesti I won second prize at the Romanian National Championship U15 – vice champion of Muntenia region 38 kg (Romanian regions: Muntenia, Ardeal and Moldova)– and in 01 June I will participated at the finale phase in Constanta.classification U15 CN Pitesti
