Subject: how to successfully sell your product in Europe.
If you want to know more about how to sell your products successfully in Europe?
We invite you to read the text below, this can be the difference to have a very successful business … or not.
At the present time the competition between the manufacturers is bigger than ever. There were never as much companies in China as there are today.
This means, at one hand that more and more factories want to sell to markets as Europe and the US, but at the other hand is the market in Europe stabilised and in the US even smaller than before because of the credit-crises.
The quality of the products made in China are getting better each year, this would mean that the products must sell easier than before. But if you see this in reality the opposite is true. More and more factories are having a hard time to sell there products.
One of the reasons is that there is more and more competition in China but also in Europe itself. Most European businessman only want to buy and sell products, nothing more. This means that everyone in China is making the same product (eg mp3, USB memory sticks, etc) and all businessmen are buying the same products. As a result that the lowest price always wins the battle and at the end, the producer in China is making very small profit because of the competition between the businessman who are buying in China.
This means that it is a lose-lose situation for everyone instead of a win-win situation.
This is why 2 businessmen in Europe started 10 years ago with a whole new concept to establish a win-win situation.
First they did several market investigations to understand
- the needs of the clients,
- the structure of the distributors in different countries,
- which markets are saturated and which markets are still interesting,
- how to make existing non-successful products successful,
- how to deal with patents and model protection in different regions,
- the different kinds of retail strategies and marketing devices,
- how to design the right packaging,
- which country within Europe loves which kind of design,
- what are the present and future hypes and trends,
- what about the influence of the legislation in each country on the design and technology,
- and much more
After this preparation was it time to make a return on this big investment and they started to make several products for different clients in different fields. Therefore they started different companies worldwide and the latest one was started up in HK for the consultancy activities. This company has the name Noble Harvest Ltd and is 100% by the two businessmen Ivan Peeters and Jurgen Demeulemeester.
Some examples:
1) The fast-filler, this kind of device was already on the market for many years but only a few thousand pieces where sold. This product was adjusted by Ivan & Jurgen to a mass product and distributed by the right channels. Within one year there where more than 150.000 pieces sold in Europe alone.

3) Defstut, this is a medical device and also on the market for several years with limited success. Ivan & Jurgen were asked to take over the production and marketing. The result was that the product was successful in 6 months time!

5) There are also other project already going on but we can not mention this because of the non-disclosure contracts with the clients and manufacturers. But these are in the field of the mobile phones, music apparatus, gadgets, house holding, etc.
After several years and the launching of several successful products several companies in China asked I & J for advice how to sell there products. After some successful corporations it became clear that many manufacturers in China facing the same problems. This is why I & J started up the consultancy firm Noble Harvest Ltd
