This website is created for you to help you get settled, find information and make it an easier living in Yaoundé. There are not many books/guides being written about Yaoundé and when you first arrive, finding your way can be challanging. But once you've found it, you'll grow very fond of it.

Yaoundé is a great place to live and work. It is small - more like a big village, has a nice temperature all year around and is located on 7 hills. There is not a large expat community but people tend to find each other via various ways and communities. One can find everything in Yaoundé, as long as one searches hard enough and is persistant enough to find it.

I have tried to combine information I thought necessary for expatriates, rather than tourists. All information is randomly listed, not in order of preference or quality. The information is not complete, there is much more out there. I have just tried to combine it little by little.
