Bob Marley is established by the owner Munuswamy. As a citizen of Mamallapuram since he was born, he knows this village and his surroundings very well. Over more than 10 years he and his staff have experience by running this restaurant & beachcafé. 

Bob Marley is a well known restaurant & beachcafé in Mamallapuram. It is situated on the beach of Mamallapuram, just 2 minutes walk from the center of this nice village. Lots of tourists have enjoyed the execellent food and drinks in a relaxing athmospere. Together with my staff we are very proud of the year after year recommandation by the Lonely Planet travel guide.

Since 2008 we have our activities extended and opened our guesthouse.

We distinct ourselves by our friendly staff who are doing there very best to make your stay rememberable. Sitting in our restaurant you have a beautiful view at the world famous shore temple, the beach and the sea. Sitting there you can enjoy the nice seabreeze and overview the activities on the beach.

Mamallapuram is a very nice place to stay and spend some time. It is situated in Tamil Nadu, South-India. Just 1,5 hour driving from Chennai airport. There are many cultural monuments to visit; The shore Tempel, The five Rathas, Krishna's Butterbal, Arjuna's Penance, The lighthouse and the stone carvers all over the village.
